Pitching problems is the continuing story in Port St. Lucie. The 5th starting position in question now as Tim Redding gets shut down, Freddy Garcia continues not to impress, pretty much leaving Livan Hernandez as the clubhouse leader. But is there more this rotation has to worry about at the current time? Sunday Night Mets, this Sunday at 8pm on www.BlogTalkRadio.com/Sunday-Night-Mets

Injuries continued to plague the Mets as they ecountered a rotten series against the Dodgers in California. Swept in Los Angeles with an anemic offense, the Mets got themselves working again when they shipped up to Boston. A miraculous home run from Omir Santos gave the Mets a stunning victory Saturday night when they needed a huge morale booster. Although this week we've seen Delgado and Cora get added to the DL as well as Reyes taking more time off, Church ailing a hamstring and KRod getting sent to the hospital, you would think this team would lose their fire and passion. If anything, the intensity has risen, and we'll have that up for debate tonight. Also a special treat. The HBTM crew for the past month or so has been drafting their own Met all-star teams based on players productions on the team. The draft will continue tonight, and you can follow along with their league on HowBoutThemMets.com as they will be in simulation on Whatifsports.com. Everything going on starts tonight at 8pm on www.blogtalkradio.com/sunday-night-mets

No Reyes, No Delgado, No Problem? The Mets have had great success starting their western trip thus far without two of their biggest catalysts. But the heart of their line-up looks as heavy as its been all season adding Gary Sheffield to the line-up everyday. Fernando Tatis has also done well getting more playing time, but where does this leave Daniel Murphy whose without a start in the past week? Also Jon Niese has been sent back down to AAA after a less then steller performance this past Wednesday. Now we're starting to hear whispers of Tim Redding's name being added to the rotation. Our thoughts on all this and more at an earlier scheduled time 7pm on www.blogtalkradio.com/sunday-night-mets
