I'll do it for my husband/wife, but not for my boyfriend/girlfriend. We hear these things often from people who feel like they should hold back on accommodations and activities from their significant others. Sometimes you'll hear women say that their men ain't getting this or that until they put a rock on their finger. You migh hear a man say that he's not gonna invest a lot of money in their relationship, but they'll do it for their wives.

It can be anything from sex to money to property to social activities to family to loan signings to almost anything.

Is this behavior appropriate? Should a person hold back on their love for their boyfriend/girlfriend until they get married?

Do you think that it's necessary to withhold things from the one you love until after you get married?

Do you think that the person that you date will be the one that you marry or do you think that some people change for the better after they get married?

Should you practice being a good spouse before you get married or will it all fall into place once you get marries?
