I don't know about you but I grew up around a bunch of skilled people, geniuses, athletes and people that could just do things that other people just couldn't do.

The one thing that many of them had in common was that many of them did not persevere. They just couldn't get it together for some reason.

The reasons could have been serious clinical mental issues, or character flaws, or they were violent, or they couldn't saty out of jail or they just had something going on with them that didn't present itself until people got to know them and it wasn't good.
