Have you ever survived a situation that a person that was close to you didn't? Like a bad car accident? A botched dangerous attempt at something? An illness?

The loss of a loved one can send anyone into a depression. This is especially so when you feel like the person who died deserved to live more than you did.

Why do we feel that way though? What can make us feel better? Shouldn't we just be happy to be alive?
