Call in to speak with the host
I'm turning 44 today (Actually it will be the day before but ya know) and we've had such serious shows lately that I think that it's time to have a little fun and talk about some of the things we do or used to do that might make us laugh a little bit at our financial situations past and present.
Have you ever done something that broke people do even though you have or have had money? It could be because you were broke at a time in your life growing up or just because you believe in saving money. It's still funny.
Here's some examples. Let me know if any of them sound like you.
Standing in line for free cheese even though you weren't on welfare.
Saving plastic Grocery store bags and using those bags for trash can liners or for putting out trash or for freezer storage.
Applying for food stamps even though you know you won't be approved or buying them from someone else.
Buying boxes of birthday cards to be used for random birthdays instead of personalizing cards individually.
Letting bills pile up until you get your income tax return
Using duct tape to fix stuff that duct tape is not supposed to be used for like fixing plumbing or car repairs.
Never filling up your gas tank.
Get it? You know there's more so let's here your Urban survival techniques and give your man sun752 AKA Omarr a birthday shout out while you're at it. What? I thought we was cool?!
