Angela Alexander, an author and international speaker will share a very personal and heart stirring testimony. She reminds us that no matter what our situation may look like on the surface God is in control, and miracles are always in action. Having experienced the loss of children to death, Ms Alexander can proclaim that the death of your child, or loved one doesn't have to be the worst thing that ever happened, if you don't allow it to be. From the words of Angela: "Don't allow your life's pivotal points to become your pitiful points!

"The Importance of Reaching One"
Early in the morning my mind reflected on the words of a very powerful song…..“God uses ordinary people. …“little becomes much when you place it in the Masters hand” The song gives reference to a young man who, because he was willing to share a lunch meant for one, five thousand plus were miraculously fed.
I am reminded also of a story I shared with my Sunday School class many years ago. And so the story goes; a man who had been a ministered for a great number of years was asked how many souls had he won for Christ . The elderly preacher said one. He was asked if he were frustrated or sad that he had only drawn one. He said no. When asked why, he humbly said, “That one soul won was Billy Graham”
In the first story, we see the importance of seeking out the right one. If our eyes are focused on the economic conditions that we face today, it is so easy to miss seeing that one who could change the scope of things in our lives. Finding that one idea that can not only benefit ourselves, but hundreds, thousands and maybe just one. But, helping that one can have a domino effect on so many others as seen in the second story I shared. For as many of us know, Billy Graham has been known to touch the lives of millions. As we take our focus off of the many situations that we face, the problems that seem to have no solutions, lets change our focal point and concentrate on reaching one. Reaching one person who can benefit by what we have to offer. Giving to them the very best we have to give. Supporting them in their goal. And guess what, watch what you have take on new growth. Watch that one seed multiply beyond your wildest dreams! I was in one of Ursula Mentjes seminars recently, and one point she shared has helped me to realize my potential greatness . She emphasized the importance of focusing on the one goal that has your greatest passion and the other goals will fall in place. Just recently, I realized that truth more than ever. I made a commitment to participate in a particular charity function, and while my focus was on what I could do to bless and support others in this effort, “my” dreams become more of a reality. People that I needed to help move my dream to a new level simply began to “show up”.
What is that one dream, that one passion, that one idea, that one person that you can help get to the next level. Real growth begins when you realize the true meaning of giving. Taking that one talent you have, and allowing it to be used to help that one person who is in need of what you have is so worthwhile. What you have may not seem much, but when you share it, your one gift blesses multitudes.
