Angela Alexander, an author and international speaker will share a very personal and heart stirring testimony. She reminds us that no matter what our situation may look like on the surface God is in control, and miracles are always in action. Having experienced the loss of children to death, Ms Alexander can proclaim that the death of your child, or loved one doesn't have to be the worst thing that ever happened, if you don't allow it to be. From the words of Angela: "Don't allow your life's pivotal points to become your pitiful points!

    "It's Prayer Time"

From a very young age, I was taught to pray by my mother (my hero), and I am grateful to have learned through personal experience the joy of knowing that God does indeed answer prayer, regardless of age, gender, ethnic background, profession and so on.

Recently, I was inspired to start a conference prayerline; "It's Prayer Time". Prayer warriors Minister Genevieve Allen and Pastor Phyllis Johnson; and I chose two scriptures as our foundation.

    2 Chronicles 7:14
"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land".

    Romans 8:28
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose".

Because of the condition of our world today; to include our homes, communities, states, nation and other countries, we are convinced that there is a need to pray. There is a need not only to pray in our closets, but to unite together in corporate prayer to touch Heaven to cause change. We believe that God's people, who have submitted their lives to Christ, need to take responsibility to stand in the gap for the conditions that we face, and the people that are held captive in so many areas of their lives.

We as children of God let's recognize our short comings and sloathfullness in prayer and repent. I believe that the children of God hold the key to change. Are we not called to be witnesses, light of the world, salt of the earth? If we, return to our first love; if we acknowledge where we have strayed; if we take our focus of things that are not kingdom building and God glorifying; and pray; people/things will change. As we see the issues that surround us, let us focus on the "solution" which is our Heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.

Romans 8:28 reminds us that all things work together for good to them that love God....important to remember that God answers our prayers, but the answer may be "no". If we love him, worship Him in spirit and in truth, obey His commandments, He will hear us. and if He says no, we will be at peace knowing that he has our best interest at heart. We recently did a tele-confernce entitled; When God says No. you may call in to hear the recording at:

    The Importance Of Reaching "One"

    "The Importance of Reaching One"

Early in the morning my mind reflected on the words of a very powerful song…..“God uses ordinary people. …“little becomes much when you place it in the Masters hand” The song gives reference to a young man who, because he was willing to share a lunch meant for one, five thousand plus were miraculously fed.

I am reminded also of a story I shared with my Sunday School class many years ago. And so the story goes; a man who had been a ministered for a great number of years was asked how many souls had he won for Christ . The elderly preacher said one. He was asked if he were frustrated or sad that he had only drawn one. He said no. When asked why, he humbly said, “That one soul won was Billy Graham”

In the first story, we see the importance of seeking out the right one. If our eyes are focused on the economic conditions that we face today, it is so easy to miss seeing that one who could change the scope of things in our lives. Finding that one idea that can not only benefit ourselves, but hundreds, thousands and maybe just one. But, helping that one can have a domino effect on so many others as seen in the second story I shared. For as many of us know, Billy Graham has been known to touch the lives of millions. As we take our focus off of the many situations that we face, the problems that seem to have no solutions, lets change our focal point and concentrate on reaching one. Reaching one person who can benefit by what we have to offer. Giving to them the very best we have to give. Supporting them in their goal. And guess what, watch what you have take on new growth. Watch that one seed multiply beyond your wildest dreams! I was in one of Ursula Mentjes seminars recently, and one point she shared has helped me to realize my potential greatness . She emphasized the importance of focusing on the one goal that has your greatest passion and the other goals will fall in place. Just recently, I realized that truth more than ever. I made a commitment to participate in a particular charity function, and while my focus was on what I could do to bless and support others in this effort, “my” dreams become more of a reality. People that I needed to help move my dream to a new level simply began to “show up”.

What is that one dream, that one passion, that one idea, that one person that you can help get to the next level. Real growth begins when you realize the true meaning of giving. Taking that one talent you have, and allowing it to be used to help that one person who is in need of what you have is so worthwhile. What you have may not seem much, but when you share it, your one gift blesses multitudes.
