This is the 13th Anniversary of 9-11.  We were at home as the alarm went off and the radio went on to the voice of the announcer saying, that a jumbo jet has just crashed in to the World Trade Center.  We all experienced the shock of watching the 2nd Airliner crash into the 2nd Tower.

This is the day America changed.

As a baby boomer, we had parents who sacrificed and worked hard to get us through college, to get us started on the pathway to life.  We went from ink wells to ball point pens.  We went from manual typewriters to electric typewriters.

When we had our families, the X generation, we gave them everything we didn't have including a lack of work ethic.  They learned to spend money using credit cards, have fun, drink and do drugs.  All was rosey dosey until 9-11

That's when we started to wake up from la-la land, a land of milk and honey.  We saw first hand how the world sees us as the rich and spoiled Americans and we realized there were people out there that don't like us.  Then in 2009 when the housing market crashed, many, thousands lost their homes to foreclosure, almost having to start over again like in the 1970's.

Today many American's are bewildered and wondering what's next.  How many Americans have moved out of America to safer countries to live in their opinion.  Is there anything we can do?  What went wrong?

Can we restore our nation?
