United States, EnglishEducation

Student2Teacher2Student© is a radio show accessible by Internet and telephone, it is sponsored by White Apple Institute (a non profit organization). This global radio program stimulates conversations between differently-abled adult students with disabilities with teachers, counselors, and employers to improve success in the classroom and within the workplace. The philosophy of the radio show is that we all learn from each other and teach each other; therefore, we are all students and teachers at varying levels. Listeners and guests from various disciplines and cultures share stories about a variety of psychosocial issues and their accomplishments. The show closes with VET2VET news updates from Disabled American Veterans, Paralyzed Veterans of America, the American Women Veterans Association and other related organizations serving veterans. The show is hosted by Dr. Danita Applewhite, PhD, CRC, Founder & Executive Director of White Apple Institute. She is an Army Veteran, Rehabilitation Counselor, Adjunct Professor, and Author.
