I'm a financial adviser to expats by trade. I also write a monthly personal finance column for a weekly political newspaper and have a couple of finance related websites. Blogging with the written word is pretty easy for me - I just haven't yet built up the courage to host my own radio show... in time!

A very brief article in yesterdays Sunday Times mentioned a recent survey conducted by the FSA - Financial Services Authority - in the UK. They questioned financial services companies about their information security training for staff. It seems that almost half of all companies questioned have no security training in place. How shocking is that? When you consider the huge amounts of sensitive personal information that these firms hold about vast numbers of individuals, it is actually pretty frightening.
Shouldn't they be trying harder to protect us? Much harder?
