Do UK financial services firms protect our sensitive information?

A very brief article in yesterdays Sunday Times mentioned a recent survey conducted by the FSA - Financial Services Authority - in the UK. They questioned financial services companies about their information security training for staff.

It seems that almost half of all companies questioned have no security training in place.

    How shocking is that?

When you consider the huge amounts of sensitive personal information that these firms hold about vast numbers of individuals, it is actually pretty frightening.

Shouldn't they be trying harder to protect us? Much harder?
