The television is bombarded with images of the injustice of African Americans in this country and while Lady Justice is sitting quietly, turning a blind eye and deaf ear to the continuous pain and unfair mistreatment of African Americans, it's clear that though others may not value the lives of our black youths--something has to be done!
Bishop McKinney addresses a lot of the concerns that surrounds the judicial system regarding black lives and what we need to do as a community and as a race of people to become economically ahead and not participate in destroying the lives of our fellow black sisters and brothers because it truly is a spiritual warfare! We must educate ourselves by putting down the video games and picking up a book. We must empower ourselves by being filled with the spirit of God so that he can direct our footsteps and we must not kill each other, leaving another heartbroken parent to carry the pain of grief because the life of her/his child was snuffed out.
