    Offline Events, Marketing and Networking

Today Charly and I were discussing Offline Events and their importance for your overall business and marketing strategy. Tomorrow Charly is off to the World Internet Summit at the Gold Coast. This is a huge 4 day event where internet marketers from all over the world are up on stage, offering information and their products.

It is very easy to get overwhelmed when attending an event like this for the first time. Our advice is not to rush into anything. Yes, you need a mentor when starting out but the person as well as their approach to marketing, product creation, selling etc. has to fit well with your philosophy and general approach to business. Otherwise it will not work for you.

This is not to say that the other internet marketers' products are not going to work or are not going to be successful - just make that you can be your authentic self when following your mentor.

Apart from gaining knowledge and finding a potential mentor, these offline events are a great place for networking, getting to know other business people and striking up joint ventures. It is important that you go about it the right way - show interest in other people first, ask what their business is all about, what they are doing and be prepared to learn from them. Only then you should start talking about your own business.

To hear more and get a lot more tips and hints to make an offline event successful for you, listen to today's show.
