Strategic Book Publishing and Strategic Talk Radio presents--
Trapped in a loveless marriage and a dead-end job clerking at Mendota’s Market, Mark Crizlanek is convinced his life can’t get any worse. Then one night during a raging blizzard he meets up with an old high school friend Trevor Gates who brags about his new job with the online movie service ReelSpeedy. He later finds out this is a front for a terrorist operation run by the Cappellas, the most ruthless Mafia family in the Midwest who control their supermarket empire with an iron fist and eliminate anyone who stands in their way with exploding DVD’s. Shortly thereafter, his lover Crystal Logan and his manager Stuart Pearson turn up brutally murdered in a store restroom and he finds himself implicated in their deaths. About the Author The author’s writing career started at around age 5 when his parents took him to a paper mill and one of the employees gave him a free box of their product. The first thing he recalls jotting down was an account of a nightmare he'd had involving an evil wall hanging. By age 7, he was filling notebooks with detailed, surreal narratives about adventurous stuffed animals, vicious pirates, and otherwordly dimensions. He dabbled a bit with poetry in his teen years, both traditional and rap. In college, he started writing screenplays, first for a video production course, then for submission. When the studios failed to show significant interest in his work, he decided that writing a really cinematic novel would be his only passport to Hollywood success and that was how IVD was born. Greg is currently living on the East Side of Madison within walking distance of some of the locations used in the book. He lives just down the street from his biggest fans, his parents, who have supported his work from day one, his brother and two sisters who have fond memories of the elaborate fantasy realms he created for them at bedtime when they were younger, and his grandmother, whose sage advice and encouragement has guided him through the creation and production of his first novel. He is currently busy writing his second novel. It should be ready for publication in early 2009.
