    "It's a hell of a good read, nicely paced and certainly suspenseful. I especially like the double thread of suspense—who will win the World Series and who the serial killer is. I also had fun trying to identify the Boston Red Sox players you were alluding to with names like Mike Tompkin, Mastukaza, Manny Ramoso, Paperbond, etc. It was enjoyable playing the identification game, and a nice little relief from the suspense of the brutal murders. It was a very pleasurable few days I spent with "Starmaker"; it's not the sort of book one starts and then finishes at his leisure. Once started, it's to the finish full bore."

    About the Author


    Jim was born and raised in New Jersey. After high school he joined the United States Marine Corps, served his country honorably and is a Vietnam veteran. After leaving the Corps, Jim attended Fullerton College in Fullerton, CA and has been an Information Technology executive for the past fifteen years. Jim currently resides in Raleigh, North Carolina with his wife, Julie, and their three children.
