For over the past ten years Head-Roc has been regarded as the best that DC Hip Hop has to offer!Dubbed “The Mayor” of the DC Hip Hop. In 2004 Head-Roc released his solo debut The Return of Black Broadway to rave reviews and top chart position on college and underground radio. In support of this album, Head-Roc toured Europe and the US West Coast, doing interviews, appearing on radio stations and delivering life changing performances for thousands of fans. This grass roots movement helped to earn Head-Roc the 2005 Washington Area Music Association award for Hip Hop Album of the Year. His music has inspired many in the progressive movement to rethink Hip Hop’s potential for achieving social change and he is widely regarded as one of the key voices in this movement – setting the perfect stage to release his sophomore solo album: Negrophobia! Head-Roc’s artistic work and activism is well respected in US Progressive and Social Justice Communities -– often being invited to participate and appear at important rallies and gatherings alongside the most prominent iconic names in The Movement of our time. Head Roc will be discussing what was wrong with the Founding Fathers.

Carol Lucey is President Emerita of Western Nevada College in Carson City, NV. Carol is an in-the-box scientist with an out-of-the-box perspective. Having written several papers in the field of physics, Professor Lucey has done work in the fields of Cosmology, Astronomy & Astrophysics, Extragalactic Astronomy, Astroparticle Physics, Quantum Field Theory, Field Theory,and Dark Energy among others. Carol is a former V.P. of Academic Affairs at Alfred State College in and received her education at Brown University and S.U.N.Y. at Binghamton. Carol attended the Democratic Convention in Nevada and reports to us first-hand what really happened.
