On today’s show, we’re happy to welcome Diana Kuan, food writer and cooking teacher in New York. Her first book, The Chinese Takeout Cookbook (Random House/Ballantine 2012), celebrates Chinese food in America and teaches readers how to make Chinese restaurants favorites better at home. Since 2007, she has published the popular Asian cooking site Appetite for China. Her writing and photography has also appeared in The Boston Globe, Food & Wine, Gourmet, Wall Street Journal Asia, and Time Out New York.
