Members of our Sinclair DNA study and other interested families are invited to discuss the basics of DNA and how to get more out of your participation in the study.

The past two years have brought a lot of new information. With that have come more questions -

  • What is a SNP and how can it tell your more about your background?
  • What's a STR and what can it tell you?
  • How do they isolate DNA haplogroups to geography and time periods?
  • Why can't DNA tell us more, sooner?
  • What tools are available to the user?
  • What tools are available to the project administrators?
  • How can you find out the right next test to take and then order it yourself?

We'll aim to answer these questions and more in this 2-hour show.

Feel free to call in live while the show is running, or just listen in. Watch the StClairResearh.com website for a link to a PDF you'll need to follow as the show unfolds.

The show will be recorded and will remain here permanently. It will also be linked to from the StClairResearch.com website.
