We begin tonight's show with not so good news news. Amid last week's 44-17 loss to the USC Trojans, 5th year senior QB Conner Halliday's WSU career came to an abrupt end when his ankle was shattered by 650 lbs of lineman. With 8:45 minutes left in the first quarter, Leonard Williams rolled Sam Flor on to Halliday's leg. After withering in pain for a good ten minutes, Halliday was carted off the field to much appreciation. With everyone in attendance at Martin Statdium fearfull that Halliday's career was over, WSU Head Coach Mike Leach confimed the diagnosis on Monday. After a few days of digesting this reality, the conversation automatically turned to whether or not Conner Halliday should be considered on of WSU's QB elite. Naturally, we ask this question. Will Conner Halliday go down as one of the greatest QB's in WSU history?

We'll also get you ready for Saturday's matchup in Corvalis against the Beavers as the Cougs look to end their 4 game losing streak. Will the Luke Falk era start out with a victory? Tune in at 7pm PST to find out.
