Welcome everyone,
This 1st show is only a shake out of the BlogTalk Radio Platform. I am moving to BlogTalk because of the incredible ease of use and live call capabilities.
Today's show will have Eddy Andrews (getting up from AUS at 2 AM) to partake in this 1st Show. Eddy is an amazing individual that does some amazing things in Emergency Management, including being the founder of a NGO focused on helping people prepare for and respond to disasters, and a whole lot more. Please join us today at noon (New York City) time.
After running the show for over 2 years on another platform, I am proud to invite people from many industries the show is for and absolutely the public, as you are all key to making this new effort work.
This new format also will lead based on feedback, to segments to expand the audience base and participation.
The show will have segments daily about "just to name a few", Current news about anything I come across in the news about Disasters, Volunteers responding to them, Law Enforcement, Emergency Operations, Fire and Search and rescue, NGO's, Non-Profits, Faith Based Orgs, and other groups based on what is happening in the world. We will also have a segment on "On The Edge" that will be specifically trying to give recognition and let the world know about individuals that really do by their actions help people. A technology segment to talk about technology that can pertain to the other segment industries, and each segment will have time to interact with the guests on the segments.
The end result will be by feedback on the future shows of EMConnection, and I promise, the people you will hear on the show (invited Guests) will be some of the most honorable people you will have the chance to meet.
