I have eclectic taste spanning the history of music; for me, the important thing is that it is fresh and innovate, and that the artist's own unique identity is stamped on the music he or she produces. Have always been drawn to the neglected, the overlooked, the under-rated, the obscure, and the underground, and, as such, I'm keen to share in exposing unsigned and untapped talent, including my own. I don't measure talent by popularity or success, which, together with my eclectic taste, gives me the ability to connect with the unfamiliar on first contact--I respond to the music, rather than the reputation of the artist.
