The Opening Session of Stetson University's Values Day 2016 features a performance of the Kenyan folk song Wana Baraka (Gathering Song), sung in Swahili, and a keynote by Peter Anyang' Nyong'o, Ph.D., a senator of Kenya and a university professor. His son, Stetson student Peter Nyong'o, is soloist in the rendition of Wana Baraka, which is performed by the Stetson Men, Concert Choir, and Stetson School of Music student percussionists, all directed by professor Timothy Peter, D.M.A. Learn more about the university's annual observance of Values Day:
