I have been on Periscope which is the newest social craze for over 90 days. I am ready to share my experiences, thoughts, and pitfalls. I will start by saying that I LOVE Periscope. I was very apprehensive because I had this vision of revealing too much about me. I had this vision of a periscope in my life but something changed and decided why not! My first periscope was awful because I did not know how it worked and I looked crazy with the broadcast going live before I flipped the camera around. I have gotten better but it a mistake that I have seen even celebrities do. It is a useful tool and it can help you so many ways because it is instant broadcasts and they only stay up for 24hours unless you save them. I have met so many interesting people on there and some I look forward to their broadcast. Like with anything there are the cons. The trolls are out of control they come into people's broadcast and say vile things! That's when the block party is in effect. You have the lurkers who sit in your broadcast and never contribute or even give a heart day after day. I am tired of the no profile pics which I think you should be made to have. I will be blocking all eggs on today. There is alot going on during your broadcast people can give you hearts and they can comment. This is a good thing but it very distracting. Then you have the hijackers who want to come in your broadcast and change the scope of what is being discussed. You also have the ones who want support but never support. There are some questionable things being done and said on Periscope and I look for changes to be coming soon. So there you have it an overview so I invite you to come on board but the jury is still out of whether I am going to stay or go!
