Although the Internet basically provides everyone a positive experience, attacks against our personal privacy and security are reaching epidemic proportions. These cyber-attacks are occurring in our own homes and businesses. Our personal computers are being used as zombies to attack the computers of other people, their businesses, and our nation. As an average Internet user, you may not be aware of these threats nor have any idea about the dramatically increasing risks you face when your computer is connected to the Internet. As an Internet Safety Advocate and Educator, I am on a campaign for Internet safety awareness and protection. My mission is to bring critical awareness to you as individuals, families, and small business owners, and to provide access to the necessary tools and ongoing expertise to secure your computer and help you stay securely protected. Join the many thousands of others who have tested their computers, discovered these threats are real, and taken the necessary steps to protect themselves, their families, and their small businesses. Therefore, I encourage you to click the red test button below to scan your computer and get your free report about the hackers, viruses, and spyware that may be preventing you from staying safe online. Also learn about true identity protection for you and your family.

Pat was diagnosed with depression in 1978, and later as a bi-polar (manic-depressant) as a result of this she went onto all kinds of medications. This went on for 17 years; she then had a major nervous breakdown, and was treated by:
* a psychologist who helped her come of her prescribed drugs,
* a reflexologist who taught her how to relax and to bring her body back into balance.:
Pat has been drug-free since 1995. Pat now lives a very happy and fulfilling life. She believes that all of what happened to her was meant to be, as it was experiences and challenges she had to go through to be able to help others by understanding where they are and where they need to be.
Note: Because of technical challenges with this international call, Pat has agreed to return on September 13th.

Today's Tactics, Techniques, and Tips!
Today I have the pleasure of interviewing Canadian inventor and businessman, Stephane Dube, as he tells us about his invention, The Window Washing System, and the issues he's had with staying safe online.
1. Who are you? (father, husband, businessman, inventor)
I am a entrepreneur inventor. I have a great wife, Nicole, and 4 wonderful children: Melissa, Jonathan, Cynthia, and Gabriel. I am full of imagination and one who never stops dreaming up new ideas. This led to my invention: An Automatic Window Washing Machine for commercial and residential use.
I was a guest on StartUpNation Radio with five other brave entrepreneurs as we demonstrated our inventions, new products, and companies.
2. What happened? What were the outcomes/results? )
We had to do a elevator pitch. You have to demonstrate in 1 minute that your idea will be the next big idea. I finished in the 3rd position out of 6 brave entrepreneurs with lots of motivation and passion to do the 1 minute ride! People had to register at startupnation to be able to vote. It was a contest of 2 weeks.
3. Where were you born? Montreal ,Quebec, Canada
4. Where do you live? Saint-tite, Quebec,Canada where is one of the biggest festivals in Western Canada
www.FestivalWestern.com
5. So you're the inventor of a machine that automatically cleans windows in commercial and residential buildings. Are you promoting it online?
Yes, here is the website:
www.WindowWashingSystem.com
6. Tell me more about your invention, The Window Washing System. How did you invent it? (No trade or confidential secrets; just the basics, please) I was a superintendant of a building of 200 apartments and my wife was cleaning window exterior for a tenant at the ten floor ,she is the real hero for that invention because I toll her don't clean those window it's to dangerous and she answer me find a idea if you want me to stop cleaning the window .And I when to my garage and when I open with the remote control my car garage door A big flash came take the panel of the garage door and install a wiper and we invent the window washing system.
7. So, now that you've created your invention and are promoting it online while looking for investors, what issues have you had with staying safe online? Use a patent attorney. Don't try to save money and don't sign anything with out your patent attorney and online. I use my webcam for conference to see the person. I use Skype and when you ask them to go by webcam, it helps to see if it's a scam or not.
And you can ask some very direct question, such as address, telephone, and website and if this investor has any recommendations, you take all the info and after you go see your patent attorney to make the search on this future investor to make sure it's not a scam or a fraud.
8. What are the circumstances? We received so many scams and as a inventor, we have no choice to give the most info on internet and are real identity to put your project very solid in front of a investor that is looking who you are.
9. What are the outcomes? We lose lots of time and lots of money because everytime that we use an attorney, it's expensive.
10. What are the solutions to keep you invention and business safe online? The legal side is one of the most important things to build on your project to protect yourself.
11. You said to me earlier that you use three computers to run your business. Please share with my audience your reasoning for doing this? First, I do that so that I can have a backup if a computer goes down. Second, my wife, who speaks French better than she can write in English, makes announcements in French on French websites. And my 9 year old daughter sometimes uses one to help me, as needed.
12. Do you have a patent number and how does it help you stay safe online? The Patent Number U.S. 6,986,186 and we have the patent Canadian 2,537,570
13. Have you done Market research? Upon which target groups have you focused? Yes we have a market research for United States.
14. What is the Market Size? Just in United State the market size is 45 billion $ if we can have 2 % of that it's about 1 billion$. Imagine if we develop some other market, at the moment there is no real solid leader that you call number one in cleaning window but us we are becoming number one of cleaning window.
15. Have you created a functional prototype? Yes and it works very good. No human can compete again my machine. Our machine can clean a building in 30 seconds.
16. You're looking for investors. How much profit an investor can make with your invention? My motivation is to give about 6 times what a investor would invest after 3 year and we can be on the market in 12 months of preparation.
17. Please tell me what type of Solutions do you offer with your invention? Yes for sure we can proved now at the moment 30% of the work in cleaning window is refuse in United States or you wait on a list 1 month to 2 month before they reach your building.
18. Do you have some video to show your machine? Yes and actually we are showing the prototype and a pitch elevator on video at Vator tv. for new startup!
