We are closing in on 20 years of a relationship that began as a dialogue and friendship that now has literally grown into wholesome family conversations amongst believers with Christian and Muslim roots; nationwide conversations based upon mutual love and the loving of our Creator. Some describe this Muslim-Focolare connection as a modern-day miracle.

She opened up another room in my heart and in my soul and made me feel more comfortable in expressing my desire to have Muslims and Christians know each other, so we can be better citizens with each other. Not just for ourselves but for each other…I think another part of it is the role of pristine nature as a partner working with the enlighten soul, that has been enlighten by the Word of G-d. I can't think of a better way to put it. I am sensing that we have something in common, more so than I have with my Baptist friends and others. I value this relationship. I have met many leaders and have associated with many churches, but nothing has touched me as deep in my soul as my acquaintance with Chiara Lubich and the Focolare Movement."
