In early 2008, journalist and youth advocate Billy Hallowell launched Static News -- a dynamic super-blog committed to presenting news, commentary and perspective on some of the toughest and most relevant social and political issues affecting contemporary American society. In July 2008, Billy invited Stephen Nichols from MTV's Real World Denver to join him in transforming Static News into a nationwide project aimed at getting America's young generation (ages 13-30) motivated, educated and prepared to make informed decisions during the 2008 presidential campaign. Static News is bringing hard-hitting dialog, discussion and debate to our weekly radio program as we hash out the issues that are most important to the Millennial Generation.
