Sheila Keene Lund had two near-death experiences before she was a teenager, which fueled her passion to discover answers to the questions "Who am I, why am I here, and where am I in the universe?" She delved into meditation, and the study of metaphysics; she felt drawn to stories about aliens and wondered how these related to the gods who founded civilization described on clay tables by the ancient Sumerians.
During a period of intense research, inquiry, and contemplation, she found The Urantia Book – an unparalleled epochal revelation transmitted to our world and published in the mid twentieth century. Attempting to disprove its claims and concepts, Sheila wrote Heaven Is Not the Last Stop, weaving a lively narrative from insights in philosophy, history, culture, science, and religion with the advanced concepts and insights presented in The Urantia Book.
