Please join Denise Iwaniw and her special guest, Julie Hedges for 60 minutes of the history, practice and wisdom found in the Art of Tarot. Julie Hedges has been an eager student of sacred wisdom for over twenty years and began her deep study of Tarot and Astrology during the last ten years.  She has been reading professionally since 2011 and continues to develop her craft.

Neshi Lokotz will interview Taki Telonidis of the Western Folklife Center and Gary Robinson of Tribal Eye Productions.

Taki and Gary collaborated to produce the film, Healing The Warrior’s Heart.  Healing the Warrior’s Heart is a public television special that examines the emotional trauma of war through the prism of Native American tradition and ceremony. The program reveals the central role that military service plays in Native life and explores the spiritual traditions that help returning American Indian soldiers reintegrate into society. 

Despite great efforts by medical and military professionals to treat PTSD many veterans continue to suffer from it, and there is a small but growing community of psychologists, counselors and clergy who are looking toward Native American traditions to bring healing to our suffering soldiers.
Join Neshi, Taki and Gary as they discuss the experience of producing the movie as well the impact Native American methods of healing emotional trauma has helped Warriors heal their hearts.
