Misho, The Bounty Hunter Story
Neshi interviews her mother, Florence Camacho, a Potawatomi Elder about Neshi’s grandfather (Misho). Mrs. Camacho relays her father’s early employment as a bounty hunter in the late 1890’s. Mrs. Camacho shares how her father traveled by horseback as a bounty hunter from Kansas to the distant shores of California to Quebec. Neshi and her mom also chat about how Mrs. Camacho’s father met her mother and the ceremony to join their lives in marriage. It’s an enjoyable hour of memories, laughter and insight to family history. Please join Neshi and her mom for Elder Hour.
