Hi, I am one of the group leaders of the Facebook group Save Our Soaps 2010. Our former name was Save Our Soaps - Guiding Light/As the World Turns. We were the group that made it on CNN for its rally in NYC the Friday before the last As the World Turns luncheon. Tami King the creator of the group and myself are available for interviews if interested. We are now focusing on still trying to get back As the World Turns/Guiding Light but also trying to save the whole soap opera genre which is in danger of extinction. If you would like to know more please contact me. Our original group was sabotaged and our new group's membership is almost back to where it was about a couple of weeks ago. We are a very active group with many future plans.

gh ..I strongly believe that Jason and Elizabeth should finally come together and begin their family. He has always been there for her and supported her to the fullest and same goes for Elizabeth looking out for him. They have always ran to one another for help and support...no one else. If they could finally realize what they ment to eachother they could go above and beyond in life. They have always understood one another and obviously cared deeply for one another. Even when they come across obsticuls in life they always manage to find one another. They are true to one another and just for that they absolutly need to get together it would make me so happy to finally see them happy once and for all! Alos with Jake being Jasons son Jason has every right to be in his life and raise he own son, he is a good father he is also willing to take on the responsibility of cam, he is willing to be a father he wants it so badly and he will be a great father if the writers would give him a chance.Jason should get the chance to save Elizabeth for one of luke and laura's past enemies so Elizabeth can see its not just Jasons life that has Danger, anybodys does.I wish they could just get the chance to go away and find a safe place where they can just be with eachother and bond so they can finally find out what they mean to eachother, so they can both get the chance to see whats it is like to be together as a family. Jasons mom has every right to know about Jake being Jasons son, Monica needs something in her life right now she has lost so much and that would help her get through everything. I am sorry if not everyone agrees with this but i have been watching this show since before 1999, and everything have seen proves to me that they belong. Contact Info

    Colin Michael Day

Making his own way in the industry, actor Colin Michael Day teamed up with his college friend to produce the film “The Loneliest Road in America,” which screened this year at the Delray Beach Film Festival in Florida and the Method Independent Film Festival in Calabasas. Even though he was producer, Day still had to audition for the leading role of Jamie, a young Coloradan growing more disillusioned with himself as he and two friends take a road trip to visit their friend in California. “I’m glad the role wasn’t handed to me,” he explains, saying that working for the part made the results that much more satisfying. That kind of work ethic and self-determination has always been part of Day’s modus operandi. As a student at the University of Denver, he was a member of their tennis team and a business major before he took an acting class and began to contemplate a serious life change, from athlete to artist. Support from his family and encouragement from his teachers found him changing his major, which lead to him studying theatre abroad in Australia for a year. After graduating back in the states, Hay and filmmaker Mardana Mayginnes made their own trek from Colorado to Los Angeles. Not content for waiting for their big break, they made their own, forming connections through work and friends in order to put together “The Loneliest Road in America.” Since finishing the film, Day has been busy keeping up his acting chops on the L.A. stage, appearing in acclaimed productions at the Elephant Theatre such as the sold-out run of "Love Bites" and the acclaimed "Block Nine" (nominated for an L.A. Weekly award for Best Ensemble Comedy.) A veteran world traveler – his adventures range from the World Cup in Europe to backpacking in the Australian outback – Colin continues to pursue his acting career while making the most of his opportunities, wherever he may find them.

Double Header! Actor Hal B. Klein & Actress Vanessa Gomez

It's been two years since he was a guestion the show and he's got some big new stuff to talk about. Stardish welcomes back Actor Hal B. Klein! This May during National Foster Care Month, Hal produces and co-stars in the new children's television special Lilly's Light, airing on PBS. Lilly’s Light is a live action musical adventure centered around an enchanted lighthouse which serves as a foster home to a melting pot of kids. Hal will also appear in the upcoming live-action retelling of Jack and the Beanstalk with Sammi Hanratty, Katy Sagal and Chevy Chase. Hal is also the author and host of the popular food blog, ThisMansKitchen.com where he is known as "the food dude" and demonstrates how to create “stupidly delicious food” with his easy to prepare, quick or slow cooked recipes. Hal breaks down recipes so that any guy's guy can learn to prepare great tasting, no fuss meals that will amaze his friends, family and hopefully a date or two. Then we have the lovely Vanessa Gomez gracing our presence on Stardish for her first time! Latina actress Vanessa Gomez's latest film, Come Together, will be premiering on DVD in early June. Come Together is a lighthearted coming of age comedy that mixes elements of The Breakfast Club with the American Pie franchise. Vanessa recently wrapped production on the thriller, Vamps, where she plays a true man-eater and she is currently shooting ID, a hard hitting action adventure film where she plays the femme fatale. As the head of her own production company, Wicked Wolf Films, Vanessa is busy developing her own original series pilot, Lost Angels, that will shine a spotlight on the underbelly of the L.A. club and bar scene. Vanessa is also the co-author/creator along with famed acting coach, Chad McCord, of Los Angeles' first illustrated actor's resource manual, Breakdown This Town, a new one-stop resource & workbook for actors looking to break into show business in L.A.
