    jimmie's chicken shack has been making music for 13 years. first releasing "2for1 special" and "giving something back" on their own fowl records then signing to rocket/island/defjam they released "pushing the salmanilla envelope" and "bring your own stereo". after living through the major label joke, they fought for 3 years to get out of their deal. they eventually signed with indie label, koch records, and in 2004 they released "re.present".
