The MLB Winter Meetings are fast approaching, which means that there should be trades galor, and singings galor.

One trade talk that caught my eye was the Red Sox willing to deal Jacoby Ellsbury in a package for Twins SP Johan Santana. Also in the trade talks were of course... the Yankees. In my opinion, the Sox will deal Ellsbury to the Twins.

Another trade talk that got my eye was my hometown Milwaukee Brewers dealing for Scott Rolen of the Cardinals. This move will then move ROY Ryan Braun to CF.

Braun's fielding this year was less than stellar. I think that a move to CF would be in the best interest for him and the Brewers. Rolen would really add depth to the Brewers, and a great fielding 3rd baseman, in gold glover Rolen.

I really don't see this deal happening however, the Brewers hardly ever make big name deals... if they do, its usually sending their own big name players to teams for smaller names, or a few minor leaguers.

Right now, what the Brewers need is pitching. The Brewers should put their name in the running for Santana, which will not happen.

Another thing scaring me is with CoCo Cordero signing a deal with the Red's, and losing Scott Linebrink means that Derrick Turnbow is going to be our closer. Definetely don't trust him... why should I.
