The Rangers are headed to Round 2!!!
Join us for the celebration!!!!
Your New York Mother Effing Rangers are moving on!!!!!!!
Blueshirt Underground Radio was founded in June of 2009, and is now in its eighth year of being the only live radio broadcast devoted to the New York Rangers.
Hosted by lifelong Ranger fans Eddie "The Mouth" Gieck and Jim Schmiedeberg, Blueshirt Underground Radio is not some boring podcast that just drones on and on. It's a lively discussion of everything related to the Rangers, where nothing is off-limits. Rants about the players, announcers, and opponents are commonplace, and no one is off limits. It is a show that prides itself in dishing out tough love to the team it adores. Not only is the show funny and entertaining, it is also fully interactive. It's the only radio show you can call into any time of year and talk Ranger hockey.
We love taking calls, and we also chat with you in our live chatroom throughout the show. You can log into our chat using your Facebook account, or by registering on blogtalkradio.com.

As a nation, we are better off now that Tony Romo has replaced Phil Simms. But for the Houston Texans, Romo heading off into the sunset and into the television booth is bad news.
Together, Matt and Luke check in on the Houston Texans’ offseason plan LIVE at 7:00 p.m. CDT tonight. Topics include a revisionist history on the Osweiler trade, what Romo’s decision means, Houston’s quarterback options, and what their offseason plan was, if they ever even had one.
For over three years, you have downloaded, listened, subscribed, rated, reviewed, and encouraged us with this podcast on iTunes, Stitcher, Purple Row, social media, and elsewhere. So now that we've made it to the watershed moment that is our 100th episode, we have settled on one thing: it's your fault you still have to deal with this on a weekly basis.
But hey, we love you for it! #PDP100 is here, and it's one of our longest (and arguably best) ever. Denver comedian Andrew Orvedahl joins the show to talk about his time growing up as a sports fan in the Mile High City, Denver's pipeline of successful comedians, why he has an allegiance to another National League West foe, and how that causes friction with his coworkers. And oh yeah, his coworkers! Andrew is one third of legendary Denver comedy juggernaut The Grawlix and, along with Adam Cayton-Holland (the PDP's first-ever guest all the way back on #PDP2) and Ben Roy (a future PDP guest), also one-third of the creative creators behind TruTV's "Those Who Can't" which returns for its third season this fall. Comedy, working in television, the Rockies, and his adorable kiddo's former YouTube cooking show are all on the docket for this week's episode.
We're talking Clayton Kershaw and his FEELINGS this week as well as Trevor Story's sluggish start, German Marquez's shot at a rotation spot in Jon Gray's absence, updates on prospects like Riley Pint, Yency Almonte, and Mike Nikorak, and lots of other basebally things.
Plus, we give you a snippet of our crossover episode with Beyond the Box Score's "In Play Pod(cast)" with Nick Stellini and Evan Davis. To hear the full show, go subscribe to their podcast. In fact, just do that anyway. They're great.
We never would've made 100 episodes without you, and we love you all. Really.

In this episode Scott Wright of DraftCountdown.com is joined by Josh Buchanan for a comprehensive look at the top small school sleeper prospects for the 2017 NFL Draft.
Prospects discussed include Eastern Washington WR Cooper Kupp, Ashland TE Adam Shaheen, Villanova DE Tanoh Kpassagnon, Youngstown St. DE Derek Rivers, Kutztown OG Jordan Morgan and Albany St. DT Grover Stewart.
Also included are interviews with Kupp, the top non-Division I prospect and a likely Day 2 selection, and Stewart, one of the most underrated prospects in this class.
Tate and Sarah take a more light-hearted approache to this episode while looking at 3 stories in the news recently. First, they talk about Ronda Rousey hiring a new nutritionist and strength training coach. Could this mean a return to the octagon? Or something else? Next, they discuss Cris Cyborg's recent video in which she calls out Germain de Randamie for a title fight, possibly in July. Finally, they talk about Paige VanZant's upcoming appearance on the show Chopped All-Stars, how they think she will do, and which other fighters they would like to see step up to that cooking challenge.
