Adrien Broner and Adrian Granados battled in a close, back-and-forth main event Saturday on SHOWTIME, with the four-division world champion Broner eking out a split decision victory from Cintas Center at Xavier University in his hometown of Cincinnati. The fight, which was scored 97-93 Broner, 97-93 Granados, and 96-94 Broner, was a tale of accuracy vs activity. Granados (18-5-2, 11 KOs), a native of Chicago, was the busier fighter, throwing 683 compared to 403 total punches for Broner (33-2, 24 KOs). But "The Problem" connected at a 41 percent rate, compared to just 21 percent for his opponent.

Reign of Troy Radio returns with a full episode to discuss the commitment of Palaie Gaoteote and USC getting blown out at UCLA.
Here's what's on tap in this USC podcast:
Michael and Alicia begin the episode by teasing the first RoT Rewind of the offseason on the 1996 USC-Notre Dame game. The Trojans got a huge commitment on Sunday in the form of five-star Palaie Gaoteote, the nation's No. 1 linebacker. How big of a get is he? How good can he be? Will USC hold onto his verbal? Saturday wasn't good for USC basketball, as they got beaten down by UCLA 102-70 at Pauley Pavillion. To breakdown the game and where the Trojans stand, Jackson Safon from Annenberg Media and the Sound of Troy joins the podcast. Listener questions include the running backs coaching search and the Trojans' strong Polynesian pipeline. The RoT Crew goes responds to the feedback from the Reign of Troy survey, discussing suggestions provided by readers and listeners, as well as criticism. Lastly, the episode wraps up with a game of This or That about finger foods and dipping sauces. Stay tuned to Reign of Troy Radio, as we'll be back to with more USC football talk next week.

On this week's episode of the Salt City Hoops Show, hosts Zach Harper and Andy Larsen talk about the power forward position for the Utah Jazz. What's going on with Derrick Favors, and what should the Jazz do about it? How much can they play Joe Johnson at the four? Then, Gregg Popovich had some nice things to say about the Jazz, we play his comments and discuss. We break down the Dunk Contest, the 3-point Shootout, and the Skills Challenge field, then talk about the Jazz's 120-95 win over the Atlanta Hawks. We then look at some trade possibilities for the Jazz, from the crazy (Kevin Love) to the not so crazy (Jon Leuer). Around the NBA, a Joe Ingles/Boris Diaw dunk bet, and more on the Salt City Hoops Show!

Jeff Ratcliffe gets you set for the 2017 NFL draft with his pre-combine top 10 rookie rankings. Dalvin Cook and Leonard Fournette headline the list, but there are a few surprise entries. Jeff gives his thoughts on each player and breaks down their potential fantasy football profile at the next level.
Ryan, Chris and Jeremy discuss the early rumblings of the offseason, building upon talk of offensive line needs in free agency to discuss the free agency period as a whole and what the Detroit Lions will need when the time comes in about a month. They also review the defensive line, a unit that was supposed to be full of promise but fell flat. What's the future for guys like A'Shawn Robinson, Kerry Hyder, Ezekiel Ansah and Tyrunn Walker? There's also plenty to talk about in the upcoming draft as they play around with draft tools, and Ryan talks about why he's fine if the Lions take a tight end in the first round. They close out the show with a fun mailbag, as always, and talk about other sports and teams they like to follow as the offseason deprives them of football.
The Alliance to End Hulkamania is upon us. Some would think that this is a good thing. It is not.
As we barrel onward towards the watershed moment that is Bash at the Beach, we stop here some four months earlier to find Hulkamania at its absolute WCW peak, in storyline monopolization if not fan reaction, as the Hulkster and Macho Man team up to take on Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Lex Luger, Meng, The Barbarian, Kevin Sullivan, freakin' Zeus and... um... Bane? I'm pretty sure that's Bane. They definitely should've gone with Bane, as Ultimate Solution has some pretty not so awesome connotations. Either way, this ungodly alliance has united to bring the Mega Powers inside the massive Doomsday Cage.
Before that, we take some time to discuss a pretty strong undercard featuring matches like Lord Steven Regal vs Fit Finlay, Sting and Booker T vs The Road Warriors and the WCW PPV debut of the legendary Booty Man. Yes, the Booty Man.
It's a wild ride, and the Mystic and mizfan are here to take it along with you.
