Sports Uncut  

After an extended layoff, Sports Uncut has come back with bullets flying again!  This time in two recent Blog posts which can be seen at the website here.

The first post is entitled, "The real deal at DSR, and a Thank You to all the readers" which is Daymon's actual account of what happened at DSR, and putting to rest the claims from one Dino Costa.  Those of you that don't know, should definitely read this one!

The second post, always a reader favorite, was the "Douche Bag of The Week for 6/15/09 - Brandon Marshall" which is a NO B.S. post!

Tonight should be a good one! I'll be discussing the U.S. Open, and we'll break down how this thing was won! We'll swing on over to Major League Baseball, and I'll look at the hottest team in the league right now, The Colorado Rockies (HOW and WHY are they so hot?)and look at divisional races and standings. I'll also touch on the fact that Manny is playing again in NM! As always, I look at the NHL and to wrap it up, well start talking some football, both NFL and College! The question for the night is what I left you with on Friday night, and that is this: what do we as fans have to do to hold professional athletes to the standards by which they should be held?? Have an answer? Tell me tonight!! All in all, it should be worth a listen!!

Tonight we're going to discuss the Dante Stallworth sentence at length. I'll go on record and say, this is an absolute outrage, and I'm shocked by what I've seen! He get's 30 days for killing a man, while Vick got 18 months for dogfighting? How the hell does that work? We'll talk about the Broncos and our favorite friend Brandon Marshall. We'll talk some NHL, and try to figure out if Alexander The Great, is the most talented NHL'er since some guy named Gretzky? Question of the night is; At what point do we, as fans, draw the line and hold professional athletes to the higher standard they should be held to, and how do we do it??? Got an answer....Tell me tonight! We'll also, touch on some listener email, and of course involve all of you! Tune in tonight!

The Hiatus is OVER!!! I am back, fresh off a stint on a Denver radio station, and I'm ready to get this thing going! In tonights show, we're going to talk about all the hot topics, including the drama in Denver with one Brandon Marshall. Is this guy for real? We're also going to touch on the NHL and the Colorado Avalanche in particular and look at what they've done with their GM and Head coaching moves. We're going to touch base on MLB, look at the standings and discuss the remaining 102 names on the "list". Should they be released or is it an invasion of privacy? We're going to look at Shaq to the Cavs, which is entirely possible by the way. And, we'll work our way around sports, hit on some listener interaction (emails-calls) and wrap it up. Tune in for sure!
