Host Anthony Antonek interviews weekly Professional Rodeo Horse Rider Diana Collins.  Diana Collins, Owner and Operator of Collins Angus Ranch, has been named a Worldwide Who’s Who Entrepreneur of the Year in Cattle Ranching.

Ms. Collins has owned and operated Collins Angus Ranch for 39 years. Her areas of expertise include cattle sales, agribusiness, heavy equipment operation, marketing and strategic planning. On a daily basis, Ms. Collins handles every aspect of her ranch, including feeding and injecting cattle and obtaining nutritious cattle feed. In addition to transporting cattle and carrying out needed repairs, Ms. Collins manages cattle sales and handles all of her ranch’s banking needs.

Along with operating her ranch, Ms. Collins was employed from 1985 to 1990 as a horse trainer at Jumboliar Aviation Estates in Ocala. In this capacity, she trained horses and coordinated horseback riding trips for residents and guests. She left Jumboliar to pursue a career as a professional horse racing jockey.

Ms. Collins attributes her success in the cattle industry to her strong desire to provide food for others and her ability to stay current in her profession. She traces her involvement in ranching to her father’s connection to the horse racing sector and his prior experiences owning and raising cattle. A former rodeo rider, he participated in rodeos with former television star Michael Landon.
