Baruch Porras Hernandez has performed his writing all over California, from Museums to barbershops, to universities and even caves. He’s featured at poetry events in Canada, Washington D.C., L.A., and NYC. His work can be found in several anthologies like Assaracus, issue 17th with Sibling Rivalry Press, and Aim for the Head the Zombie Poetry Anthology, Multiverse the Super Hero Anthology both with Write Bloody Publishing. He recently premiered his solo piece When I was a Color Kid with Marga Gomez’s Perfomerama showcase at The SF Oasis. He has been a resident artist in the spoken word program at the Banff Center in Alberta Canada 2011, and he is a Lambda Literary Fellow in Poetry 2014. He was born in Mexico, he lives in San Francisco.
