Wonder Dave is a writer and performer from Minneapolis MN currently living in San Francisco CA. He’s toured the country performing at poetry venues, schools, cabarets, science fiction conventions, burlesque shows and bowling alleys. He was the recipient of the Jerome Foundation’s Verve grant for spoken word artists in 2007. Dave has been a part of five National Slam teams and has been featured on Group Piece and Semi-finals stages at the National Poetry Slam. He's also been a finalist at the Rustbelt Regional tournament and the Great Plains Poetry Pile up. Wonder Dave was one of the founders of America's only Poetry Slam Inc certified all women's slam Punch Out Poetry. His theatre credits include “The Awesome 80’s Prom” at Hennepin Stages, “Verbatim Verboten” directed by Michael Martin and "The Sweetest Swing in Baseball" at The Mendocino Theatre Company. Dave’s work has been published in the Legendary, Orange Room Review, Breadcrumb Scabs, Pedestal, Shit Creek Review and Assaracus Magazine.
