A global, surging demand for natural and SAFE health solutions guides another part of MonaVie's mission--enabling individuals to build a legacy for their families by taking the MonaVie message to the masses.

MonaVie's roots reach deep into the Amazon where the rainforest is home to one-third of the world's species of animal and plant life and where deforesting is threatening habitat and ecosystems.

MonaVie's most renowned ingredient, the legendary Acai Berry, is one of the few Brazilian exports that can directly protect the mighty rainforest itself. As word of the extraordinary benefits of drinking MonaVie reaches across nations and oceans, harvesting the rainforest FRUITS will become wiser Brazilian commerce than harvesting the trees themselves.

Indeed, one of the greater facets of MonaVie's mission might well be in helping to save the rainforest, the lungs of the world, for future generations.

    Justice for Mrs.LaVena Johnson

    ..
..Please take a moment to help the Johnsons achieve justice.
    ..TABLE>
    ..TR> ..TR> ..TABLE>..TABLE>..TABLE>Dear Essie,

LaVena Johnson was a 19 year old private in the Army, serving in Iraq, when she was raped, murdered, and her body was burned--by someone from her own military base. Despite overwhelming physical evidence, the Army called her death a suicide and has closed the case.1

For three years, LaVena's parents have been fighting for answers. At almost every turn, they've been met with closed doors or lies. They've appealed to Congress, the one body that can hold the military accountable. But, as in other cases where female soldiers have been raped and murdered and the Army has called it suicide, Congress has failed to act.

Will you join Mr. and Mrs. Johnson in calling on Congressman Henry Waxman, Chairman of the House Government Oversight Committee, to mount a real investigation into LaVena Johnson's death and the Army's cover-up2? Will you ask your friends and family to do the same?

    http://www.colorofchange.org/lavena/?id=1621-507259

From the beginning, LaVena's death made no sense as a suicide. She was happy and had been talking with friends and family regularly3--nothing indicated she could be suicidal. And when the Johnsons received her body, they noticed signs that she had been beaten.4 That was when they started asking questions.

After two years of being denied answers and hearing explanations that made no sense, the Johnsons received a CD-ROM from someone on the inside. It contained pictures of the crime scene where LaVena died and an autopsy showing that she had suffered bruises, abrasions, a dislocated shoulder, broken teeth, and some type of sexual assault. Her body was partially burned; she had been doused in a flammable liquid, and someone had set her body on fire. A corrosive chemical had been poured in her genital area, perhaps to cover up evidence of rape.5

Still the Army sticks by their story. They refuse to explain the overwhelming physical evidence that LaVena was raped and murdered and continue to claim that she killed herself.

For many Black youth, and working class young people of every race, the military is seen as an option for securing a better future. LaVena came from a deeply supportive family, and while the military wasn't her only option, she was attracted by its promise to help her pay for a college education and the opportunity to travel around the world. She also thought that by joining she could continue her lifelong commitment to serving other people in need. She made a decision to serve in the military, with all its risks, and expected respect and dignity in return.

LaVena's death is part of a disturbing pattern of cases where female soldiers have been raped and killed, and where the military has hidden the truth and labeled the deaths suicides.6,7 In virtually all cases, Congress has been slow to investigate or hold the military accountable in any way. Unfortunately, most families simply don't have the resources, time, and psychological strength to push back.

We can help the Johnsons, and other families, by holding Congress accountable in the LaVena Johnson case and by demanding it investigate the pattern of cover-ups by the military.

Please take a moment to join those calling on Congressman Waxman to investigate the cover-up of LaVena Johnson's death:

    About Gadget

    Gadget
    Producer/Entertainer/Writer
On January 21, 1986, electrician/engineer Bernard Jackson III and beautician Essie Alexander gave birth to a 9 lb. 12 oz. baby boy in Columbus GA, the 1st son of the 4th generation in the Jackson family, Gadget Bernard Jackson. Born into a family of cursed males and gang members, he had no idea what was to come in his future. During his kindergarden year at Dawson Elementary while watching older kids beat on the tables and freestyle at lunch, he became interested in assembling a delivery of his own. After observing the older students in their continuous sessions, Gadget decided to try to stand next to the crowd and interfere in their sesion with an attempt to sneak a few bars in that he had already precalcualted in his mind for the vast crowd of students. Surprisingly to him, after getting through the crowd to the very front to say what he had to say, as the lunch bell rang, the crowd responded to him with so much energy that he thought the fire alarm had been tripped and he began to exit the cafeteria. When the session was over, several of the students made comments that inspired him to attend each session after. Already a center of attention on the school turf, Gadget's new found interest became so much of a habbit that everthing he said after then, was an attempt to put words together in a sensible manner to create a lyrical pattern that could not be traced, copied nor verified.
At the age of 7, his parents were to enforce a divorce leaving him to be the man of the house with a baby brother, Deondrae Jackson, and a mother to look after. After being a whitness to the turmoil in between his mother and father, as well as the stress of being the oldest son in the home, Gadget was influenced to write poetry about his feeling and his young life thus far to keep him from telling strangers how he felt. Starting to develope a love for expressing himself to his private booklet, he began to then place these life situations into music and spoken word. By the age of 9, he had written several different notebooks of complete stories. Listning to rappers such as Eric B. & Rakim, Run DMC, NWA, Lady of Rage, MC Lyte, Queen Latifah, Bone Thugs and Harmony, DMX, and Tupac, also R&B acts like Jodeci, Shai, R-kelly Boys II Men, Sade, and New Edition, broadened his view of the many different ways music could be delivered and encouraged him to be more versitile during his studio sessions while recording.
during the year 1996, the streets became a larger part of his lifestyle and has been ever since. By him being affiliated with a family and hood full of GD's, he was no stranger to violence and drugs. Being a direct affiliate with BGDN and crew of homeboys L.E.P. (Large Enterprise Pimpin) he took on the name L.E.P (Large Enterprise Productions) to represent for his homeboys and hood Lep for the money and streets of Columbus. The Name Gadget since birth represents versatility, a product, a tool, an instrument, a movement all in one.  Since day one he has been a part of the Nation and remains to be a threat in various situations. Barely dodging the law, this honor student grew at a pace unknown to most man, allowing him to always have an upper hand.
With the ability to rap, sing, write, perform, and entertain, at the age of 12 he won his first talent show in southern Phenix City Alabama at a boys and girls club in the hip-hop and in the R&B portions of the show with original material. After trying out a few groups with rappers who seemed to share the same interests, he decided to be more to himself. By the next year his mother, better known as E.J., had become the wife of famous tv star of the classic sitcom "What's happenin" Fred "Re-Run" Berry. Gadget and his mother were separated at his age of 13 and his mother soon after relocated to California. After spending 3 more years hustling on the streets of Columbus and Phenix City , Gadget went to Los Angeles to Visit his mother and step father and wound up staying on the west coast. L.E.p. sold 20,000+ copies of his first completed project in Cali under the alias of Sno in 2002 in which he produced and wrote himself. While attending Inglewood High, he later came across the answer to all of his musical needs in the producer Quionne Pittman, better known as "Chill". Chill had previously worked with Gadget in a group as well as a track he produced on his underground solo project and was more than familiar with his ability to Create music. They share a chemisrty in the studio that is unmatched by any artist and producer EVER!
Since then, Gadget has recorded and written music for Tupac's brother Mopreme Shakur, also released a compilation albumn in the U.K. that had a single go to #4 in the U.K. charts in which he co-wrote and featured on under the alias Leprakhan. He also has done interviews with Touch Magazine, performances with Raekwon and Guru, radio interviews with Tim Westwood of Radio 1 Extra and Phoebe 1 of Choice FM in the U.K., and has yet to sease to amaze his viewers. This musical phenom at the age of 20 is ready for any and everything the music industry has to offer and take away. Question is, is the game ready for a new starter.
