Spiritual Sorcery  

The situation is one we've all encountered at some point. A friend is taken to hospital for serious surgery and we feel a need to bring them some type of gift that will provide a small measure of comfort. It happened to me; a friend's mother had undergone an operation to have a sizeable tumor removed and I wanted to provide her some type of gift but had little money to do so. One of the talents I have been aware of since a very early age was the ability to write, poetry in particular. It would become noticeable as an urgent need to describe or explain a specific thought or idea and wouldn't leave until I sat down and expended it.

I had asked for some assistance from my guides and the idea of writing a special poem for her merged. Gradually, the plot - for lack of a better word - surfaced but with no real content. Following my own advice, I decided to request some special help, in the form of a special guide with this project and within an hour I was busily tapping away at my keyboard. What was unique about the following poem is that it apparently contained a very specific message for this lady. It was two pages long so I spent a bit of money and purchased a holder, pasted it on the inside so it could opened like a book and added some stickers and hearts. I was incredibly touched to find out that she had placed it in a plastic holder and it now resides in the center of her coffee table, so all can see it.

I need to reinforce here that I do NOT take full credit for this poem; I was merely the conduit and am extremely grateful for being allowed to bring a small measure of beauty to a wonderful lady. I truly hope you receive a small amount of the blessing from reading as I did, in writing it.

You'll note that I kept the "dark_scriptor" in the URL; my philosophy is that one can never hide from their "shadow self". We may not like this aspect of ourselves, but ignoring it doesn't make it go away, not by a long shot. Just like our Joy Guides will sometimes orchestrate situations that make us stop and take time to play with our inner child, that "shadow self" has its own way of forcing us to acknowledge it.

These of us undergoing ascension at this time are not only becoming much more conscious of our spirit guides but are taking steps to actively pursue a relationship with them. We've put a very honest effort into establishing the method and means of this communication and often it has been very frustrating. It's essental that we take into account two important factors: all they ask of us is that we do make the attempt and begin to place our trust in them. Above all else, though, they want to ensure that we fully realize that they are acting in their roles because they've chosen to do so. Their primary interest is to see that we are provided with everything that we need to be both happy and sucessful as Light Workers and Light Warriors. Joy guides, for example, are solely responsible for any aspect in our lives that brings us joy. To work with them in a unique way, consider doing this - and begin right now: Take a few seconds, close your eyes and simply whisper: "Joy Guides, I respectfully request that you provide me with a special and unique gift today." Don't place restrictions because that severely limits their abilities to assist us. Just like us, they each have unique talents and ways of expressing themselves and it's important that we honour that, as we would any dear friend.

Temporary Guides

As Light Workers and Light Warriors undergoing ascension, we will quite often come across situations that we have had no real experience with and feel like we're totally "out of our depth". This is not to show us our shortcomings or lack of wisdom but simply to allow us to find our own answers or solutions. The really good news is that there is body of guides, whch many people are unaware of, who specialize in difficult problems. I've refer to them as "Temporary Guides" and they are ready, willing and able to assist us with a specific project or problem.
To invoke them (I don't mean to insult anybody by that terminology but I am a student of magick and writing this from my own experience and knowledge) begin by simpy doing this:

1)  Take a few moments to ascertain what type of help you require and write it down if you wish. At times, I have felt a bit intimidated at the realization that I was actually sending my request directly to the realm of Spirit, with no middle man, and that it was actually being heard by very powerful entities. Another aspect of this, which I sometimes have difficulty with even now occassionally, is that no problem is too small to seek their help. They LOVE to be called on to aid in our journey. We don't have to state the type of guide we require, simply what our current problem or difficulty is and believe me, one will be assigned to you that is perfect for your needs.

2)  Once you're certain of what the project is (I prefer to call them "projects" rather than "needs" because this really is a collabarative effort of professionals and it grants one an incredible amount of personal power and self esteem) and you're ready to begin, close your eyes, take a few calming breaths. I prefer to do this portion while in my sacred space but it is not necessary - you can do it while you're walking or sitting comfortably in your favorite easy chair. The next stage is to simply make the request: "I request to be assigned a temporary guide to assist me with (state the project). I have full trust that one will be assigned who has specialized knowledge in this area. Thank you sincerely, Creator, for granting my request."  Use your own words, of course. I'm supplying this only as an example of what I normally say. Once you've done this, the work is only beginning.

3) One of the key elements in working with our guides in general, but moreso when working with temporary guides, is that we have to ensure we remain alert for their gudance. The solution is not going to suddenly pop up, tailor made. Remember, this is a joint effort. They provide the expertise but we have to be open and aware enough to recognize the help when it arrives and do the actual work. This means that we need to pay very close atention to our intuition and often do things we not have considered before. A trip to the library, a call to an old friend, rendering assistance to somebody in need....the list is endless and if you require help with this, it is only a whipser away. simply say: "Please allow me to be open and aware of your guidance so I recognize it when it arrives."

4) Once the project is complete, and a solution has been found (although you may not have actually implemented it) we have the option of thanking them and releasing them or requesting that they remain close by to assist us in the future. NEVER regard them as servants or slaves. Treat them with the same courtesy and respect that would a dear friend. If we need help with taking the next step, we have the option of using our own discretion and requesting help with that as well. As with all things pertaining to Spirit, it is imperative that we acknowledge our gratitude at every oportunity.

While this all looks good on paper, Does it really work? I can try to convince you until you're blue in the face. If you have the time, please refer to the entry following this for a vivid example of the type of assistance that these incredible entities can provide...even on short notice.

Many of us undergoing ascension and reintegration at this time find ourselves being directed to explore - and do - things we would normally not have considered. And it's highly likely that you've already found out that Spirit seldom takes NO for an answer, if these tasks are necessary components to our spiritual growth and development. Often they make no immediate sense and require us to step out of our comfort zone, feeling self-conscious and alone. Sometimes these appear as major leaps but if we take a few quiet moments to consider it, we'll almost always see that these tasks are really just an extension of knowledge and wisdom that we've already acquired. In my own experience, I've found these tasks to be the practical or "application" portion of learning; the theory aspect has already been downloaded into our conscious minds by the work we've completed. This has almost always required a considerable sacrifice of some sort, on our part, and no small amount of dedication.

If you're reading this, you are already very aware that we are being transformed on a cellular level to orient or "attune" us to accept more of the energy beng directed at all of us during this crucial time leading up to the Shift. The other aspect that is often overlooked is that of communication - with the Angels, Guides, Ascended Masters and other Beings of Light who are playing a crucial role in our development, often behind the scenes and invisible. It can seem like a huge maze when one first begins to realize that they are being awakened to the role they have agreed to fulfill, prior to entering into this incarnation. It can be both a frightening and enlightening experience, for example, to come to a full realization that much of what we have thought of as being our depression is really the emotional energy of those around us making an impact in unfavorable ways. Because of this change we are undergoing, our ability to sense the energetic emotional energy of those around us is being heightened, often at an alarming rate. Empathy is a very common trait among us, as we're being transformed, and it is a very new experience for many of us.

We can feel very alone and may even think we're being ignored or taken for granted in some cases. On some level, we understand that others have busy lives but it still doesn't alleviate those feelings completely. Is there a solution to this dilemma? You'll be happy to know that there is and it revolves - ironically enough - entirely around energy.

Here's what you can do....Pull out your address book or your friend's list, here at BTR, and begin the first day by selecting just two people. And then perform one simple act: Write them a quick note - something very short - and simply let them know that you appreciate them. Don't get too detailed - unless you feel directed by Spirit to do so. It's never a negative - and I strongly urge you to consider this approach - to take a few moments prior to selection, whisper a quick request to your guides to be shown which 2 to contact. Consider taking a few extended and calming breaths before you open your eyes. One aspect of working closely with our guides that people sometimes forget is that of courtesy. If the communication and relationship with yours isn't fully developed, it can sometimes take a bit of an orientation period to feel each other out - not just for them but for you as well. Because our psychic abilities are unique and in varying stages of development, we'll receive their guidance normally in a manner that will employ our "psychic strong sense" and it takes patience and determination to develop this. If you have the desire and are willing to make the effort, they will respond in kind. So, allow them a reasonable amount of time to respond and try not to over-analyze.

Use this tool for 7 straight days and try to limit yourself to only 2 people each day. This is designed to begin stimulating energy in a very specific way and it's always advisable to start with small steps. One would never consider having a few cigarettes with their coffee in the morning and then expect to run a marathon with world class athletes in the afternoon. Always keep in mind that our progess and development are entirely dependent on patience and timing...we are being asked by our guides to exercise the first but keep the second one in mind - our timing is not necessarily the Universe's timing.
