In the midst of violence and escalating terrorists threats, we pray.
In the midst of religious extremism, we pray.
In the midst of suicide bombers, we pray.
We pray for an end to hatred among nations and religions.
We pray for a greater strength in security.
We pray for an empowerment of local people to stand firm.
We pray for an understanding toward peace
and tolerance of one another.
Most of all, we pray that the terror of fear
be replaced by the assurance of hope.
May harmony, peace, and tolerance of diversity
be a lasting source of protection for all people.
Hear us O God,
the ONE GOD of many religions, faith and spiritual traditions.
For this we pray. Amen.
