Loving God of Heaven and Earth,
In the midst of crisis,
we are reminded more than ever
that our journey in this world is a pilgrimage to You,
and that we belong to You O God.
Help us keep our feet on the ground
and walk in the ways of justice.
May Your Spirit remind us to carry love
in the backpack of our hearts along the road of life.
Help us pay attention
to the earth, to nature, all of creation and humankind,
to our family, friends, loved ones and neighbors -
all tangible reminders of Your presence.
In our pilgrimage of life,
may we be seekers of the good in this world
and reach out to help others along the way.
Crisis or not,
may we always pay attention to what really matters in life.
Hear us O God as we pray, Amen.
