“Wherever you go, I will go;
wherever you live, I will live.
Your people will be my people,
and your God will be my God.
Wherever you die, I will die,
and that is where I will be buried.”
Ruth 1:16-17 Today’s English Version
Consider these questions for reflection when praying with this passage:
To whom are you committed? What covenant relationships do you keep?
In what ways do you live a committed life?
What are the struggles? What are the joys? What are the moments of gratitude?
How do you share your relationship with God with your committed spouse? Partner? Significant other?
What do you need from God to help you continue to live your committed journey?
