Compassionate God,
You who inspire others to action,
who give beyond their measure
even during challenging economic times.
Steadfast God,
You who encourage scientists and doctors
to press forward in medical research.
Gentle God,
You who enfold children in love,
and sit with relatives at the bedside of their sick children.
For the tireless efforts of your caring servants,
