Prophecy and history reveal that we are living in what Daniel refers to as "the time of the end".  The Bible also reveals that God's true followers will learn the truth that had been suppressed for centuries by the Antichrist that oppressed God's people during the Middle Ages.  It's in "the time of the end" that God's true followers will, by His grace and their faith in Jesus Christ, become completely cleansed of their sinfulness in order to fulfill the purpose for humanity's creation.

This is something the Antichrist does not want God's true followers to know so it continues its deception through other means.  In the latter days however, when God's true followers begin leaving its apostate system by acceptance of Bible truth, an enraged Antichrist will make his final push for false worship by enforcing the mark of the beast, and leading millions to their destruction.

In Jesus Christ, "type" meets "antitype" at the Cross.  In the earthly sanctuary (the type), every animal slain represented Jesus (the antitype), "the Lamb that takes away the sin of the world".  The priest and high priest, who interceded on behalf of God's people in the type, ministered with the blood of the animal sacrifices. The intercession concluded with the annual Day of Atonement...the day of cleansing in order to be in direct union with God.

Jesus, the antitype...our true High Priest, now ministers in the heavenly sanctuary in the antitypical Day of Atonement ("the time of the end").  He is completing the work of cleansing His people through sanctification, so they can vindicate the just and righteous character of God before the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

This knowledge will enable us to expose the deception and reject the mark of the beast so we can receive the seal of God and forever be with Him in glory.
