  Don't Give Up
  

  Dear Friend:
  
  Let's say you have just started a new venture. It could be school, job, business, or even a creative project, whatever it is you will face challenges. It is not that fact that you will face these adversities, it is how you will respond once they occur. When you get to a point where you feel that you want to give up, hold on. When you feel as if no one else is in your corner, hold on. When you have a victory, hold on to the feeling and repeat it over and over. I have spent years in the marketing/advertising industry prior to becoming a full-time filmmaker, radio host, and new media development expert and the one thing that I have learned that separates those who are successful and those who are not is the perserverance that you possess. The passion that you had when the idea came to you is the same passion that you must sustain throughout, all day, everyday. Remember why you started whatever it is that you began and how important it was when it was a fresh idea. Now think about where you are now and analyze the successes and the failures that you have had. Then take all of that information and visualize where you see yourself in 7 days, 7 months, and 7 years. Striving to your next big success, shrug off the unsuccessful attempts, and keep the goal in mind that you began with. I speak to you from experience and I take my own advice. I wrote this to inspire myself in hopes that it will inspire someone else. So let's have continued success together.
