Darrin also was in the movie THE LAST STAND, with Guy Tory and Anthony Anderson, where he plays the role of a comedian who goes by the name of TD. In July 2007, the thriller, APRIL FOOLS was released and Darrin plays Detective Ward. Henson played Lem Van Adams on the hit Television series Soul Food for five seasons. Henson gave a compelling performance of a street hustler turned husband, father and businessman. His character struggled to balance a drama-free life embodying loyalty to his family with an unstable past life, which included familial dysfunction and repeated prison stays. Depicting Lem was no difficult task for Henson because he believes there's a little Lem in every brother. In Henson's words: “We all want to fight through adversities and feed our families.” Films, Life, and Positive Thoughts
