Our society is perpetually intertwined in an unending cycle of racial divisiveness, warranted by one action or another, committed by one race or another, even AFTER Dr. Kings monumental plea for us to judge one another by the “content of our character” and not “the color of our skin”. When and how can we get BEYOND this malicious cycle? Who should be the first to take steps toward simply ignoring the ignorant, media based rhetoric and perpetuating positive action in the advancement of mankind as a whole? Is Armageddon simply the final war of ignorance and hatred for simple aesthetics and religious beliefs over and beyond all of our acquired intelligence and sophistication, which by the way accounts for so much more our existence? Have we simply worked to create a world of freedom, peace and independence just to tear it back down with ignorant hatred, racism and maliciously divisive behavior?

We've all heard the theories related to the ultimate demise of the middle-class in America... the rich getting richer, the poor getting poorer and all that empty chatter, but what logical reality does this idea really contain?

A GREAT deal of reality if I do say so myself... but not from the perspective of the typical underachieving, working-class citizen with dreams of sticking it to the man for holding him down and who believes the poor only get poorer because the rich are somehow secretly stopping them from gaining wealth. No Sir, in keeping with "Think Differently" tradition, you know my take will be something a bit more thought provoking.

What if the very system that promotes its undying passion for your ultimate comfort by any and all means necessary (including, but not limited to, taxing successful business men and women to pay the bills of the unsuccessful, forcing small businesses out of business to give you FREE services, creating tarps and trampolines so that "failure" is not an option for giants, while once again small business gets no such deal etc...) What if your beloved middle-class wasn't compromised by the RICH, but by the very same government you rely so heavily on to regulate the "rich and successful"? Interesting to say the least...

ReSpec CLASSICS #133: The Differences That Divide Us: Why Racism May NEVER Die in America

Greetings supporters and welcome to your weekly dose of REVOLUTIONARY LOGIC and REAL TALK about REAL LIFE courtesy of yours truly, Specta!

This weeks ReSpec CLASSIC, discusses the "big controversy" with the President of the United States of AMERICA addressing the school children, we will dive a little deeper into WHY the reluctance to show the speech in some schools COULD EASILY be viewed as a lowered tolerance for our nations first Black President during trying times... In other words, how fast does America's beloved "great Black hope, savior and patron of change" become "just another Black man telling White people (and their children) what to do"? Deep.

This begs another question if you will indulge me... While one would safely assume the old school racism, sanctioned bigotry and blatant discrimination of yester-year APPEARS TO BE all but behind closed doors and deep inside of closets in America today, what if it wasn't? What if actual "RACISM" not bigotry, but good old fashioned RACISM was alive and thriving right before our very eyes EVERYDAY in America?

While no longer on water fountains and rest rooms, racially discriminating signs that divide us and tell us where to go may now be permanently etched on our brains anyway, and they kick into action when we encounter different life situations everyday, Black or White... social-profiling if you will... But whats the difference when it is an inherent belief that a Black man is lazy, doesn't invest his money and cannot complete a sentence, or that a White man speaks with proper diction, can't play basketball and has no idea who T-Pain is? But that's just scratching the surface...

We'll cover MANY racially charged scenarios and social conundrums in an effort to identify the "new" face of racism on TONIGHT'S ReSpec CLASSIC you don't want to miss AGAIN!!!
