Co-Teaching and Special Education: Pitfalls and Potential
Co-teaching is now part of many children’s IEPs. This it can help or hinder children’s ability to attain their potential. Sometimes it works wonderfully; sometimes it fails miserably. Drs. Wilson and Blednick will help parents and teachers understand how and how not to co-teach. They will answer critical questions, such as (1) What is effective co-teaching and what is not? (2) How can parents know if co-teaching will benefit or harm their children? (3) How can parents and teachers know if co-teaching is helping children achieve their potential?
