Young black philanthropy often goes unrecognized, but this episode of SYP Global Radio will spotlight a major voice in the movement, Friends of Ebonie Founder, Ebonie Johnson Cooper. JET Magazine, Washington Post, Forbes and Huffington Post have all recognized Friends of Ebonie and it is up to us to continue to bring awareness to the community work and leadership of black millennials. In 2013, she began the Changing the Face of Philanthropy Summit, which offers an opportunity to bring together African American millennials to strengthen giving behaviors and develop strategic action plans for civic leadership and involvement.
