Tampa Florida Water Restrictions
Florida has been under drought conditions since May 4, 2006. Currently we are under a level 3 restriction which means you water your lawn once a week, no irrigation with drinking water, no irrigation of turfgrass renovation until June of this year.

The more water you use the more water will cost you. Not just in the amount of water used but the unit price will increase the more you use.

Cry Me A River
Tampa’s Hillsborough River is the main source of water for Tampa and on a scale from 1 to 100 it’s flowing at about a 2. So Tampa is tapping into it’s reservoir for almost half the water it needs per day.
The 15 billion gallon reservoir is not full. It needed some repairs that were not done and that doesn’t allow for it to be filled to capacity.
Florida is not alone in its need to reduce and reuse water, there are other states in the same dilemma; Alabama, Arizona, California, and Minnesota find themselves in desperate need of water reserves and conservation.
