What if Women Ruled the World?

Let's imagine a world, where women were in control in all arenas of families, politics, religion, law and corporations all over the world.  Would things be different?  Would the world be more peaceful or worse?  Some beleive that women would create a more nurturing, educational based society and wouldn't have any wars...others say that women would drive civilization into the ground with their emotional selves. What place would men have? Would they became slaves and worker drones? or would they be enriched through the compassion of women and seen as equals?
